Security

Last updated: 20 July 2026

We take the security of your communications and data seriously. This page summarises the technical and organisational measures we use to protect the CallEssential platform. It is provided for information only and does not create contractual warranties beyond those in your service agreement.

1. Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS. Signalling and media can be secured with SIP-TLS and SRTP where supported by your equipment, and stored data is protected using encryption at rest.

2. Infrastructure and access control

Production systems run in secured, access-controlled environments. Administrative access is granted on a least-privilege basis and protected by strong authentication.

3. Network and fraud protection

Our session border controllers, rate limiting, and anti-fraud monitoring help protect against abuse, toll fraud, and unauthorised access. Traffic is continuously monitored for anomalies.

4. Resilience and recovery

We maintain backups and operational procedures designed to support service availability and recovery. Availability targets, where offered, are set out in the applicable service agreement or SLA.

5. Shared responsibility

Security is a shared responsibility. Customers are responsible for safeguarding their own credentials, SIP and API keys, endpoints, and networks, and for configuring their accounts securely. Charges arising from compromised customer credentials remain the customer responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Reporting a vulnerability

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please contact security@callessential.cc. We ask that you give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate before any public disclosure.

7. No absolute guarantee

While we work hard to protect our platform, no system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot warrant that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

This page is provided for transparency and general information only. It does not form part of any contract except where expressly incorporated into your service agreement, and nothing here creates warranties or representations beyond those set out in your signed agreement. In the event of any conflict, your service agreement and our Terms of Service prevail.
