SIP Trunk, DID & Toll-Free Services

Terms & Legal Notice

CallEssential provides cloud communications services, including SIP Trunks, Direct Inward Dialing (DID) numbers, local numbers, national numbers, toll numbers, toll-free numbers, and related telephony services, subject to availability and applicable telecommunications regulations.

By purchasing or using these services, the customer agrees to the terms set out below.

Emergency Services Notice: SIP Trunk and VoIP services may not support emergency calling (911/999/112) in all regions. Customers must maintain an alternative means of contacting emergency services.

  1. 1.

Telephone number availability cannot be guaranteed and is subject to carrier inventory, regulatory approval, and geographic restrictions.

  2. 2.

Number portability (port-in/port-out) is dependent upon the losing carrier, applicable regulations, and successful validation of ownership.

  3. 3.

SIP Trunk services require compatible IP-PBX, SBC, or SIP-enabled equipment and a stable internet connection. Call quality depends on the customer's network, bandwidth, and equipment.

  4. 4.

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, national, and international telecommunications laws applicable to their use of the service.

  5. 5.

Services must not be used for unlawful activities, robocalling, spam, fraud, phishing, caller ID spoofing, traffic pumping, artificial traffic generation, or any abusive or prohibited telecommunications practices.

  6. 6.

Emergency calling (including 911, 999, 112, or equivalent emergency services) may not be available in all regions or may have limitations compared to traditional telephone services. Customers should maintain alternative methods of contacting emergency services where required.

  7. 7.

Toll-free and geographic numbers may include regulatory restrictions, residency requirements, identity verification, or documentation requirements depending on the issuing country.

  8. 8.

Unlimited calling plans, where offered, are subject to a Fair Usage Policy and are intended for normal business communications. Excessive, automated, or abnormal traffic may result in additional charges, service restrictions, or suspension.

  9. 9.

CallEssential reserves the right to suspend or terminate services where fraud, abuse, security risks, non-payment, or violations of applicable laws or these terms are identified.

  10. 10.

Service availability, uptime, routing, and call completion are provided on a commercially reasonable basis and may be affected by third-party carriers, internet connectivity, maintenance windows, force majeure events, or regulatory actions.

  11. 11.

International calling rates, taxes, carrier surcharges, regulatory fees, and numbering charges may vary without prior notice where required by law or upstream carrier changes.

  12. 12.

Customers are responsible for protecting SIP credentials, API keys, PBX systems, and network infrastructure against unauthorized access. Charges resulting from compromised credentials remain the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  13. 13.

Certain services may not be available in every country due to local telecommunications regulations.

CallEssential may modify, replace, or discontinue specific numbering resources, carriers, or service offerings where required by operational, commercial, or regulatory considerations. Customers will be notified of material changes in accordance with their service agreement.
